Privacy Policy
For AI Notifications (AI Notification Summaries) · Last updated: June 20, 2026
AI Notifications is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how the app handles your data.
Data collection and use
- We only process notifications from the apps you explicitly allow.
- Notification content is processed by your chosen AI provider (such as OpenAI or Google Gemini, or a custom endpoint you configure) solely to generate summaries.
- Summaries and notification history are stored locally on your device only.
- No personal identifiers are collected or transmitted.
- We do not operate any servers or databases that store your messages.
- We use anonymized web and app analytics to understand how the service is used.
Data sharing
- Notification content is only shared with the AI provider you select, for the purpose of summarization.
- We do not sell or share your data with any other third parties.
- Standard Android system crash reporting may collect basic, anonymized diagnostic information.
AI provider processing
- Notifications are sent to your chosen AI provider solely for summarization.
- No user identifiers are sent with the notifications.
- Data retention by that provider is subject to their own privacy policy.
- If you bring your own API key, requests are made directly to your provider under your account.
Permissions
The app requires:
- Notification access — only for the apps you explicitly allow.
- Battery optimization settings — to ensure reliable background operation.
Your control
You have complete control over:
- Which apps are monitored for notifications.
- Deleting your notification history at any time.
- Enabling or disabling the service.
- Removing the app and all associated local data.
